Cantare Houston is a professional consort of singers dedicated to creating a community of listeners transformed by choral music's ageless power and cultural diversity.
These are just a few words that describe performances by Cantare Houston over the years. Founded in 2003, Cantare Houston performs in some of Houston's most remarkable venues such as the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Rothko Chapel, Zilkha Hall, the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the University of St. Thomas St. Basil's Chapel, and Houston Baptist University's Morris Cultural Arts Center. Cantare's annual Christmas Concerts at the Museum of Fine Arts are one of the "Must Have" tickets of the holiday season.
Passion. Excellence. Spirit. Joy. Community.
